The Shellback Tactical Prevail Series 10 x 12 NIJ 0101.06 Certified Stand Alone Level III Hard Armor Plate is constructed of AR1000 Ultra High Hardness Steel and provides level III ballistic protection against handgun and rifle rounds. This plate is NIJ 0101.06 certified and lighter weight than AR500 steel plates. Model AR1000 is designed to be thin (only .35 inches thick), coated with rhino extreme lining to prevent fragmentation spall and is very economical for military and law enforcement personnel.
