This body armor plate has a low price point but a high performance level. Model P5MMSAO is NIJ 0101.06 certified, constructed of durable STAR 647 steel and made in the USA. Weighing in at only 7 pounds, this plate it lighter than most steel body armor plates on the market today. Model P5MMSAO offers full edge to edge NIJ threat level III protection by stopping six rounds of 7.26 x 51 M80 ball and is special threat rated III+ stopping XM193 and M855 greentip. Coated with Rhino Extreme HP-50 liner, this armor plate provides full spall protection while only measuring in at 1/4 inch thick.
